system automatic shut off
I just recently got the parts for my new computer and put it together. When I attempted to turn on the system, the case fans and cpu fans went on for a couple of seconds and then died along with the system. I tried this again and the same thing happened. What could be the problem?

What are the specifications of the system? Is the HSF properly seated on the processor die? What size/brand is the PSU?

Do you have spare RAM and video cards to swap in to test with? If the power supply is undersized, random rebooting can occur. Cricket
