Gigabyte Motherboard Messed Up!

hi there..
i have a gigabyte motherboard on a pentium 3 system, Chip model:GA - 6VXE7+F9(VIA 693a), i used the @bios utility to upgrade my system,i used internet update option and used the latest bios that was 6VXE7+Fa (VIA 693a)..i think these were the riite ones, i updated the flash rom and then rebooted my system, but it gave a blank screen and the system gave 3 beeps (teeeeent tint tint) first and then a polyphonic type of beep din dun!..i dont know..how..cuz the version was riite..and now its trying to read the floppy drive...i had earlier saved the old bios on a floppy, but now wen i put that floppy in the drive..only the polyphonic beep doesnt come..it reads the floppy for a few mins and then nothing at all!!..what shud i do..throw my motherboard or ne thing there that can help?
i read the article on the site but how do i reflash wen i dont even get POST and no display and wen i dont know how i make an autoexec.bat file with those modifications asked...?
