I'm looking to buy a new optical mouse and this time I'm don't want to go cheap. The first (my current) optical I bought was an $8 Keio. If I move too fast with it, it will kind of 'studder'. Its a little strange -- It'll jump around but still be basically in the same spot horizontally. I'm a heavy gamer and this doesn't help my shot.
I've been looking into two logitech models -- the MouseMan Dual Optical & Mx500. I was hoping you guys could give some insight as to the pro/cons of each. USB or PS2? Which would you consider better for gaming(response time, sensitivity, skip/studder avoidance)? Which is more comfy? tia! - kisk |

I have a mx500 and I love it, but I neer tried the dual. You should use PS2 with the sample rate set to 200.
