Dual Chan or not?
Hey, I installed new ocz el-ddr dual chan kit 2X256Mb in my comp, my book says that I can run dual chan from Sockets 1-2 or 2-3 or 1-2-3. I installed the ram is the 2 last slots so if I did it right it's supposed to run dual chan now... but how do I know if it is or not? My board is Asus A7N8X DLX v.2.
What makes me think maybe it's not is that when i boot it says ddr at rows 2 4 and i really don't know what it means. |

I just installed 2 sticks of Crucial 512mb PC3200 into my dual-channel system, and i was wondering the same thing. I cant tell if its running in dual-channel or single. It is a hell of alot faster tho

There is also a BIOS update for the board that, once flashed, will say at the POST screen if its running in single-channel mode or dual-channel mode.

Actually it came with the 1004 update so I don't know why it's not showing for you.
