Printer Installation nags on start-up
I have a Canon multifunction thingy on LPT1 and a Samsung laser printer on LPT2 (a Lava add-in card). Both work well when required but everytime I start the system up, Windows 2000 Pro wants me to install the Samsung. The system is an AMD XP2000 on a Gigabyte mobo with 512 meg of DDR.
I can just cancel this installation routine but it is a niggle that I would like to be rid of. Any ideas? Thanks Paddy |

You have to complete the installation routine once successfully before it will stop bugging you.
