i tried to create a system disk and i was missing Qbasic.exe and uninstall.exe. Also, when i decided to boot from disk anyway it said there was an error in config.sys and it said all named loads of line numbers as having errors on them. What can i do?

You don't need QBasic on a normal Startup disk. Files like these are useful for doing advanced work in DOS - but if you ain't going to do that - then you don't need them.
Just make a standard Windows Startup disk and see if it takes you to the A\:> prompt. If it does, then it's doing what it should and everything is fine. Or try a Win98 Bootdisk from www.bootdisk.com HTH |
