What about running these two Hard Drives???
I was thinking for my new system that I would run a WD Raptor 10,000 RPM 36.7 GB HD for my OS and drivers and maybe some small programs and then go with a WD 7200 RPM 200 GB HD for everything else. And of course they would be SATA!!! Or what other combo could I use without slowing my OS down too much?

The 7200RPM drive wouldnt slow your OS down. But Even if the raptor could run your OS faster its going to have to stop and wait for the 7200RPM drive to play catchup when running "everything else"

Install all your programs on the Raptor and use the 200 for data. Wouldn't hurt to make a partition on the 200 for backing up the Raptor too.
