Ive lost my mobile cd rom!!.
ive formatted a toshiba portege 3490 CT laptop, and since the format, it does not recognise the mobile cd rom. In the properties, it recognises the PCMCIA cable, but i still have no cd rom drive!! we've reinstalled drivers (didnt work). reinstalled recovery cd rom disk (didnt work). i feel weve tried everything, even kicking it (not really) but still no joy.
has anybody got any suggestions i could try please??? Thanks. Sally |

nope, only then pcmcia card, not the cd rom
