Nero causing CD drives to dissappear

I have this problem with a version of Nero 5 on Windows 2K so I visited the Ahead website and found this page:

Item 3 describes my problem so I followed the instructions to remove the upper and lower filters keys but I still have the same problem (there were only upper filters listed, incidentally).

If I uninstall Nero and INCD, everything works fine again.

It even locks out the floppy drive.

I had numerous problems with some of the earlier versions of Nero 5.5, but since upgrading to the latest version (5.5, not 6), I have had smooth sailing, no probs.
