HArd drive Switch problem Win2k

I have Windows 2000. Because the motherboard was acting up, I had to switch it with another one. I'm using the same hard drive that was present with the old motherboard. I'm getting a STOP message in Windows 2000, saying "Inaccessible Boot Device". I expected that emssage to appear, but I need help to fix it. If anyone knows, please help. Thanks.

We have a thread in the Tips and Tricks forum that addresses this situation in great detail. Yes, it's a repair reinstall, not a simple repair.
