Power Supply Voltages...
I have no clue what are good and bad voltages....I have some ****ty power supply running this computer I am using right now, and I ran this program called speed fan and I got these as voltages: (Can somone tell me if they are OK, or if I should worry) Thanks...
+3.3V: 3.33V +5V: 4.97V +12V: 12.61V -12V: -14.27 -5V: -5.65 Thanks a lot! |

they look ok to me, I would question the -14 volt one though, it may not be correct, you can read the same voltages with a multimeter to be sure.

I wouldn't be suprised if that was right because the power supply was one that came with my case, and my case was like 35 dollars....lol...If I would have had the money I would have gone for an antec....

If you find any extra money laying around, that's the one part I'd be sure not to skimp on. Get a quality unit to prevent any premature frying of components.

As a rule of thumb, I monitor the rails, and if they step outside +/- 5%, I change the PSU.

Your negative voltages are way out of spec, anything over 10% I investigate.
