Was trying to disable ACPI in the bios of my ABIT KT7-RAID and when I went to the Power Management menu in the BIOS the ACPI Enable/Disable function is not even available. The mobo manual does talk about the function being in the bios (it even has the screen shot of the inside of the Power Management menu) though, but the bios itself doesn't display the function the first thing in the Power Management menu is the thing that normally would come after ACPI!?!? I am lost! Is this a defective mother board? However it works great, nothing else is wrong with it! I was thinking may be I should flash the bios, but then why does the mobo manual discuss the ACPI function as being able to be Enabled/Disabled when the manual was probably printed describing the contents of the original bios? Does anyone else have this problem or had it and bios flash update fixed it?!? Thanks to all! Leo.
