PC Card - Memory card reader/writer 4 in 1
I'm thinking about getting a PC Card for my notebook that would be a 4 in 1 memory card reader/writer. I was wondering how much they usually stick out (alone and with a card in it)?

If your notebook has a USB port you won't have to worry about it - just plug a USB reader in when you need it. I've never seen a 4 in 1 for PCMCIA, but we use PCMCIA adapters for Compact Flash all the time and it does not stick out at all.
