Question I should of asked a long time ago

When I built my computer about eight months ago I ran into a little (very little) problem. My computer has a control thing for the temp and fans, but I can't seem to control the fans. The fans always run at full speed even if I try to turn them down. Anybody know what the problem is?

Which fan controller is it? How do you have your fans connected to it right now?

The motherbard is intel pebt2 I believe, and my controller is thermaltake. It's connected to the same connections as my fan. ( I connected them together)

The fans need to be connected to one of the power connectors on the Thermaltake device, and not inline with the power to the device or inline with anything other than a fan.

The problem is that My case has seven fans and there's not enough connectors to hook them up seperate.

I'm pretty sure you can stack the fans with the pass-through connectors, but you need to have the temp-sensor on a different connection.

If its noise you are wanting to eliminate, I would recommend disconnecting the front intakes, and see how you like that level of noise. That, or put just a few fans on the fan controller, and turn them off when you don't need them.

Sounds like you got some cool set ups...when are you going to post some pics in the Post Pics or the Computer innards threads?
