printer and scanner recomendations...
HI,
I'm thinking about buying a new printer and possibly a scanner. The printer will be used mostly for photos and color prints. We have a laser printer for text. I'm looking for a good quaility printer, but really don't want to spend more that $150 for it. And, are there any good quality multi-purpose machines out there. I would be willing to spend more if I could get a scanner also. But, I'm not sure how efficient they are and how well they print. Any advice would be great. Thanks |

See if you can find an HP K80. It's an all-in-one that is very good and in that price range. I like it so much, I picked up two of them! The photo prints are very nice and it scans well too. And, it can also fax and be used as a "copier."

The K80 is a sheetfed - if you are looking for a flatbed multifunction, look at the HP PSC series.

My wife got her a HP PSC 2210V and seems to love it. I haven't had a chance to use it yet.
