SATA Vs RAID
Hi All,
Just read with interest that a RAID configuration can improve HD activity by 59%. Is this true?. I have 2 identical 80 Gig HD and was wondering if this setup would be benifical to me. The other option is to purchase a SATA HD which my mobo supports but if RAID is superior!. Anyway another issue is that my mobo doesn't have RAID support but I believe there are RAID cards you can purchase that fit into a PCI slot. Would this affect how RAID works. Any input would be appreciated, Thanks |

serial ata is the way to go but if you allready have to 80 gig run them on a raid configuration and see what you think it will be cheaper
