|
anyone use water cooling?
does anyone have a machine thats water cooled? i have heard a lot of different views on it, some say it works great and some are stuck on "water and computers don't mix".

if you have big dollars to spend and planning on some big oc, you can think about water cooling, but otherwise, you can oc decently on air, but in order to achieve higher fsb your mobo need cooling on the north bridge, and in order to have a big oc stable you need more voltage and more voltage creates heat, lots of it... with water cooling you can up the voltage up to 1.9v and still have some decent temps.

Yes, i do. Although some do not call it a real watercooling setup as its a Koolance Exos. Not a homemade kit.

I would nto recomend water cooling to anyone. Those $200 could have gone to a faster cpu.
