Generally, the more silent the fan runs, the more expensive it gets.I personally like Antec. They're cheap and proven performers. However, some say they are a bit too loud. My PC is an exception. It's runs silent (even though I have a total of 8 fans in my rig) since I have it tucked in my closet. The clothes and closet door muffle / block the noise. Thermaltake is also a nice brand. I plan to buy their HSF when my room gets hot in the summer.

The Panflow fans are great. I got 4 of them and they are silent and work great. Also check out Vantec Stealth fans, they're also very quiet, I got those on my dads machine.

I personally like the Stealth fan just as much as the Panflow. They are very quiet. I have two (exhaust) in my dads machine, which is an XP1700. Keeps his system cool and quiet (only hear the HSF). If only I can talk him into buying a new HSF his PC would be SILENT! LoL ![]() EDIT: Hmm... my post is weird. what the heck is up w/the text? LoL Last edited by Jeradln82; 11-16-2003 at 06:57 PM. |
