Question

Can someone tell me what pci latency is? I ran sissoft sandra and it say's

Tip T1205: Intel Corporation 82443BX/ZX 440BX/ZX PCI-Host Bridge
(AGP Implemented) : AGP Ver 2.00 or later offers
better performance.
Warning W1206: Intel Corporation 82443BX/ZX 440BX/ZX AGP Bridge :
PCI latency too high. Device could hog the bus for
too long.
Warning W1207: Nvidia Corp RIVA TNT2 Model 64 : AGP Ver 2.00 devices
may be incompatible with early AGP 1.0 boards.
Warning W1206: Nvidia Corp RIVA TNT2 Model 64 : PCI latency too
high. Device could hog the bus for too long.
What does this all mean? Is it a problem? If so how do I fix it?

Lightbulb

Each PCI Master device in the PC is assigned a set time, on a rotation basis, to take control of the PCI bus in order to transfer data. PCI latency sets the time that the MV-1000 (and each Master device) will be allowed to take over the bus for during each turn. Clearly the higher the PCI Latency the longer the burst of data can be that that the MV-1000 transfers.
