DVD in my ROM drive?
Can I watch a dvd in my cd-rom drive at home. Is there some kind of software thatI can get that will laow me to use a dvd in there? I have alot of dvd's that say extra things on my pc if I have a dvd rom drive to unlock it. Welll I dont have a dvd rom drive and I was wondering if I could get ahold of some software that would alow me to do it. Im not out to only get special featurs on my drive I want to be able to make DivX movies and be able to watch things as well... I might just have to get a r/rw/dvd drive to do this. I only have two bays and both are in use.

It's not just a software issue. You need the DVD hardware to make it work. That's why they make both. A 16x DVD rom (which also reads CD's) is relatively inexpensive. Here's a nice Sony at Newegg. Others, like Liteon and Pioneer are in the same range.
