EDIT: Great News.. The old Keyboard works!! whooohooo.
Sorry If I wasted anyones time. I didn't think it would work. Moderators delete this post please, sorry. Ok.. I bought a new keyboard and mouse combo. Its the MX700 mouse w/the keyboard. I went to install it yesterday, so I uninstalled all my logitech software, but I didn't go and manually uninstall my old Keyboard and moues (also Logitech). After I installed my new combo, only the mouse would work. I couldn't get the Keyboard to work. So, I went to logitechs website and downloaded then installed their newest Software. After that all worked fine and I went on to play CS. Last night I shut off my PC, then when I booted up this morning I found my Keyboard and mouse would not work. After trying to connect them (they're wireless) a few times I decided to make sure the Keyboard was working. So I entered CMOS and the keyboard WOULD work in cmos. So, I then tried to boot into safemode, but still my keyboard and mouse would not work. I then Shut Down, unplugged my Keyboard & Mouse and plugged in an old ps2 keyboard. I booted and got nothing. Again the keyboards work in CMOS menus but once I get to windows they do not work. I'm going to connect my old logitech keyboard and see if Maybe, it will work. Right now I do not care if my mouse works, I just need a keyboard. So, if anyone has had this experiance or has any suggestions on how to fix it, that Would be great! Oh.. I also need to make a bootdisk so I can maybe manually delete the logitech software. Where can I go to do this? I've never created one yet. Oh yeah.. my Specs are in my Sig. For future reference, the Logitech support site has quite a few dosuments about getting wireless keyboards and mice to properly communicate - along with a matrix of which receivers work with which keyboards and mice. One of my customers has several wireless Logitech sets in his office (of different types, including spares) and has been having issues lately - took me an hour with these documents and some mixing/matching (and fresh batteries) and got everything working well again - and Logitech is replacing a couple bad receivers.
