Connecting with the a7n8x

Predicament, I have a chieftec dragon case and an a7n8x deluxe motherboard.

I've successfully connected the majority of the cables with some exceptions.

1. I cant seem to connect the HDD light to the right slot

2. The front USB port is unconnected because I don't know where to plug it in

3. The front Firewire port is also unconnected for the same reason

I understand that the majority of the case tidbits go into the bottom right corner, but I've read the instruction manual that came with both the motherboard and the chassis and I can't seem to make heads or tails with it.

Can anyone help me?

Ok, for the HDD led connector, it is off to the left of the other front panel connectors. It's all by itself, but the manual shows exactly where it is. I had trouble with that too when I bought the board since most keep it with the other connectors. For the USB connection, you'll again have to look at the manual for the location of the connectors. How are the wires for the front USB connection setup...one block or are they all separate wires? The firewire connector is all the way to the left of the board in between the PCI slots.

Thanks Surge, I've connected the HDD led into the IDE LED connector pins, and now it works!

There are two main wires, one splits up into a black rectangular connector with 9 little recessed holes.

And the other splits into many little connectors, grounds and +5v and -5v.

I assumed the 9 pin was USB so I plugged it into the black port next to com2 and it's not recognizing anything.
