try to get the JB model of the Western Digital hard drive, it has an 8MB cache which makes it perform better.

Make sure you get two sticks of RAM to take advantage of Dual Channel DDR, so if you want to go with 512MB, get two 256MB DIMMs. Also, since the FSB on your processor is 333MHz, you want to make sure you get PC2700 RAM, so the speeds match. If you plan on overclocking fairly high, you might consider going up to PC3200 RAM, but other wise just stick with the PC2700, as it will perform the same as PC3200 with your processor if you stay at stock speeds.
Of course, make sure you get a quality PSU, and I second the advice on the hard drive. Make sure you get one with 8mb of cache. It makes a noticable performance difference. |

As Glaive said, make sure you get a quality PSU, look for Antec, Enlight, Sparkle or Enermax, they are some of the better ones. Other than that, nice build, have fun, and welcome to PCMech.
