Is 669 a good HDD score in PCMark2002?

Wow that seems low then, because I have a WD 80Gig SE w/8Mb Cache. I wonder if my computer (the other components ahve anything to do with it)...I am using a different computer than in my signature.

well it depends... your motherboard may only be running at ATA66 or somthing like that cause it to affect your score

It's an Abit BH6, Slot 1 Mobo, but I am using the Abit Slocket converter, to use a 1GHz socket 370 chip in it. Maybe it is ATA66.

I have a Western Digital 80GB 7200RPM hard drive with 8MB cache and my score is 842.

I have 5 WD 80 gig HDD with 8Mb cache and they all score a little over 1100.

With my new system.....1165 for the HDD score....a major increase!
