that is a loaded question, as there is no correct answere for you.
there are better quality cases that do cost more and are better built. the case that is best for you will not be the best case for me.

I would not recommend that you buy a case with a powersupply built into it as they usally poor quality one

you would be much better off to buy a case without the supply and buy a good quality spuupl to place into the case

a couple of good brands are enlight, and lian-li for a good case
enermax, and antech are some good power supplies

When looking for a case, the most important part is the power supply (if the case comes with one) and that should be your main concern. Most good quality cases do come with good quality power supplies, but a case with a 400 watt power supply for only $75 will get you a decent case with a not so good power supply. You can do as bailey suggests and buy the case and power supply separately (which will cost you quite a bit) or you can get a nice case (like an Enlight) with a good quality 350 watt power supply (which will power most system easily) for around $55.

Why do you want a 400 watt power supply anyway? With power supplies, more watts doesn't mean the power supply is better. You want a good quality power supply that supplies clean steady power to the system. Any instability on the rails will lead to an unstable system and even random rebooting. A good quality 300 watt power supply will handle most home systems that aren't used for gaming. For gaming systems with a potent video card, a good quality 350 watt power supply is more than enough.

i would spend that money just on the power supply! Buy the case separate. After all it is powering everything else you buy and you wouldnt want a nice system running on a cheesey power supply.

PSU is the most important part of the comp, nothing runs without it.

I would say the MB, if you didn't have that, you'd just have a PSU .

All kidding aside, the PSU is one of the most important parts in your PC. This is what gives power to all your parts, and you want to make sure that it's not going to fail, and possibly take some other parts with it.

Yeah, I was just kidding with you. You really do need a good PSU, as it makes sure that all your parts are going at the same time.

If you need some info on PSU's, we have a list of PSU's going in the Gen. Hardware thread. And if anybody has any contributions to make to the list, please do so .
