Where's your RAM and drives? And which OS are you going to run?

Why the thermal paste and HS with the Retail CPU? The CPU will come with a HS, and it should be more than fine with that.

I would also get rid of that Samsung drive, they are notoriously bad.

I have a Samsung drive...just a regular 52X. Was like $10 I think. It works.

Who told you that Retail isn't good? Retail is probably a better way to go than OEM, for CPU's anyway. You get the chip and the HSF, rather than save maybe $5 going with OEM, and then spending $20+ on a seperate HSF.

Go with the retail rather than the OEM, ditch the Thermaltake HSF and the AS, you don't need them.

I agree, and don't forget that you get a 3 year warranty with the retail version. I think max. warranty on an OEM is 90 days. Also keep in mind that using an after-market HSF and thermal compound can void your warranty.

Cool

If you stay with the OEM, then I would go with the Speeze Falconrock. Avaialble from Newegg for $9.49.

The retail HS (for the AMD's or Intels) are quite good, and should be fine for OC'ing. And why wouldn't you want the warranty, it's not like your paying a whole lot of money for it?
