I do not want to make a mistake on my first build. I am willing to pay from $50-$75. What would be my best option keeping in mind power and fans?

Go with brands that come with recognizable good quality power supplies. Antec, AOpen, Enlight, Inwin and a few others come with good quality power supplies.
As far as fans and cooling goes, all you really need is one fan on the back of the case blowing outward. If the computer still runs a little hot, then you make adjustments like adding a front intake fan. Make sure you keep the cables and wires neat inside the case, you don't want them going all over the place as that will affect case air flows and cooling. Cricket

Some Enermax cases come with good Enermax PSU's, however others do come with knock off Power-Up PSU's...
I'm aware these cases come with the Enermax PSU's: http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...talog=7&depa=1 http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...talog=7&depa=1 http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...talog=7&depa=1 I'm using the case in the first link posted. Does its job so far... |

TigerDirect isn't the best vendor around. Their ratings over at ResellerRatings isn't very good.

Xpcases have nice cases, you can also get your fans from there. I ordered Rounded Cables(2), Fan, Fan Grill from there and it came within a week.

I have gotten certain things from Tigerdirect.com myself, and have never had a problem with their service. I will only buy things there though if I can't find them anywhere else, as they are way more expensive. Tiger=$$$
