Tape
Hello everyone.
I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good type of adhesive tape for use inside computer cases? I need to tape a temp sensor to a heat sink. I need something that can take the heat and that won’t get hard, brittle or gooey over time. Thanks. Delta013 |

I use the double sided foam tape as it really works well and it tends to form around the temp probe.

I’m not sure I want something that permanent, this temp probe is for a Thermaltake Smart Case Fan II. So I may be moving the sensor, and maybe the fan, around the case.
Thanks. Delta013 |

It isn't permanent and although it keeps stuff in place, I hav ehad not problem removing it, plus it doesn't leave a residue.
By the way you use it like regular tape putting the tape on the top of the probe. |

Ah, so you don't use the other sticky side of the tape?
I'll see if I can find some of that, thanks. ![]() Delta013 |
