CPU Fan part for a motherboard

I got my hands on a used mobo recently. its an older MSI with a 478 pin socket. But the black frame which the cpu heatsink & fan attaches to is missing. I know that those can only be found attached with a mobo, but i wasnt so lucky with that used mobo. i dont want to spend money on a new mobo since this one works perfectly, so i could really need that part. any ideas?

yeah that was one of my ideas, but since the processor i got for the mobo (celeron) already comes with a fan, i dont want to buy unecessary parts. unless theres a cheap fan which will still have that part...

How do you know it "runs perfectly" if you haven't been able to run it yet? And why is it missing the retention ring?

well i tested it out by putting the processor and holding the fan on it just to see if anything comes on the monitor. i just assembled the mobo temoprarily for a few seconds to see if it would work. and again its a used mobo. got it for 10 bucks at a surplus store. What do you expect? lol
