connecting the case led's

As you probably geussed by the topic title, I'm a noob.
I just need to know wether it is dangerous for my motherboard or not if you connect the system panel connectors wrong.
For example: if I connect the power led the wrong way around I know that nothing will be damaged; the power led just won't work.
But does that also go for the other system panel stuff? (power on/off switch, hard disk activity led, reset switch, system warning speaker).

I'd like to be sure before I boot my new system for the first time that nothing can go wrong

Thanks!

Nothing will happen apart from them not working if they don't work, simply just reinsert the connector the other way round and all will be well
eg, if you don't see the HDD Activity light, once you have shutdown your system again, just turn the connector around.

Ordinarily, if you get one connector correctly onto the pins and it works right, the others connect the same way. Example: If the power switch connector is +/- as you face it, the power LED, HDD LED, etc. will also be +/-.

The switch doesn't matter, that can be inerted either way, and no damage will happen.

I recently had the same problem, built the whole thing and didnt want to take a chance damaging the board which i guess now from reading wouldnt happen.
You could try finding the .pdf manual for your board online. it'll have all the pin connection info.
