Case Fans
Hey guys , I am in the process of building my first computer and have lots of noob questions 8). Here is the latest.............I have noticed that cases come with different amounts of cooling fans ...up to seven that I have seen so far. How do you conect them so they all work? Is ther some kind of conector used to link them all together????
Thanks!

they just connect to the power connectors from the power supply the same as the hard drices and cdrom drives do,
may need to get a Y splitter if you don't have enough connectors, which also may be a sign that maybe the power supply might be too small. it shouls be at least a 300- 350 watt supply |

Unless you are going to overclock you really only need 2-3 case fans at the most unless you just like annoying noise.

If you are planning to overclock you might wanna take a look at the Vantec Tornado TD8030H. This moves 84cubic feet of air per minute and spins at a whopping 5700 RPM. I bet you the areconditioner in your civic cant move that much air. But on the down side it is a little noisy when it gets to full potential. I recommend getting a fan controller for when you really need to push your fans to the max.
