Cooling question

I'm about to start putting my first PC together, just waiting on the ThermalTake SubZero4G. The case I have is the Antec Lifestyle Sonata. This case has an integrated power supply and back 120mm case fan. There is a 120mm mount in the front of the case as well.

The fan that comes with the SubZero4G is an 80mm. My assumption is that I would stick with the case fan from the Antec and not use the one from the SubZero4G. Does that sound right?

You want to leave the fan on the Thermaltake heatsink. That fan will draw the heat away from your processor. The case fan will then draw that heat out of the case.

Just to be more specific, there are three components of the ThermalTake system. The "cooling unit" for the ThermalTake is made up of a cold plate, a thermo-electric module, a heat sink, and a CPU fan. This is connected to the PCI card which has the power supply to regulate the cooling unit. There is also an 80mm case fan that also can be connected to the power supply.

The case fan for the ThermalTake is what I'm guessing I will not use.

You do not need the 80MM case fan, but if you like noise be sure and use it, ThermalTake fans are loud.
