monitor cables or switch box?
I just bought a monitor switch so that I can share one monitor between my pc and my mac. I bought a Startech that only cost 12 bucks. My problem is that I have ghosting issues now that I have added this switch box. I am wondering if it would be the switch or the cables. The cables are Belkin, but they were cheap cables (8.99 per 6ft cable). Should I try better cables first, or look into a better monitor switch box? Here is the link to the switch box I have. Does anyone else have this particular monitor switch and what experiences have you had?

I have had similar results from bad cables, they were thin and long, making for a good bit of signal loss and probably other probs. A shorter one made a major diff. Try another if you can.
