Windows Media player and Cd-Text

OK...question for you guys....

I have a burned cd of a high school band concert... and when i put it in my computer and play it in windows media player there are titles for all the songs and the name of the cd and everything. I was trying to figure out how to do that on a audio cd that I burn myself instead of seeing track 1, track 2 etc. I have tried writing cd-text but that doesn't seem to do anything. What am I missing here?

An internet connection to some CDDB is usually all it takes, if your burning program supports it.
