wheres my c drive

im having a bit of a problem here, my comp messed up and i needed to reinstall win2k, i was using ntfs and my hard drive was, for whatever reason, split up into 2 partitions, the first one was some 16 meg thing and the D one was the rest, after i reinstalled windows onto the big one and killed the little one, my drive remained as D, this will probably be nothing but a problem so i want to make my D drive C without formatting, how would i do this? why is it doing this? can i delete the partition and recreate it without losing everything?

You cannot change the letter of the drive that the OS is running from.

You are looking at a wipe and reinstall.

Yep. I repeat, you cannot change the letter of the active operating system drive.
