Primary running low on room

Wife want's a secondary HDD and I have been out of touch with all of this. Not to mention my night classes, I do not have time to do the research. So she picked the following harddrive out, and I wanted the PCMECH opinion on it. If you have something better than this, let me know. Also, in previous posts I do recall there was a particular HDD maker that most PCMECH people dislike: was that WD?

I have that particular HD installed as a slave and have no problems. In terms of quality Maxtor are about as good as it gets so if that drive is a good price but it. i got it about 3 months ago for around £70 i dont know what that compares to in $.
