Beeping.....No post or video

I'm having a problem with my pc;

athlon 2000+
256 kingmax pc2700 ram
a7v8x-x mobo
40gb seagate barracuda
64 mb radeon 7000 pci
generic 350 watt power supply

I'm getting repeating beeps and no video when i switch on the power, i tried setting up everything outside the case, still the same thing. The fans are spinning (the cpu fan too), the greenlight on the mobo is lit. The floopy drive light is goes on when the power is on. I suspect that the CPU may be the problem, seeing how there was beeps when i powered it up without the cpu. Anyone else have problems like I have, i need some tips or advice.

thanks

Check to see that none of the pins on the underside of the CPU are bent. Reinstall the CPU and be sure to check that it's fully inserted into the socket.

Make sure the video card and RAM are also fully inserted into their slots.

You'll want to replace the generic power supply with something better. A poor quality power supply will eventually lead to lots of headaches.
