I was wondering if anyone had a Aspire X-Dreamer II case and if they did how easy would it be to changes the blue LED's to red ones.

I'm doing something similar with one of the cheeper raidmax cases to make it look like the X-Dreamer (I would have bought one, but didn't want to pay for blue lights and fans when I really wanted green). Here are a few links for what you need:
Here are the LED's: http://www.frozencpu.com/cgi-bin/fro...nu_search.html Here are the LED Covers and LED Conector cables: http://www.frozencpu.com/cgi-bin/fro...nu_search.html Here are Molex spliter cables for your power supply: http://www.frozencpu.com/cgi-bin/frozencpu/sat-17.html Anyway, what you will do is preplace the LED's (and cords that get power from the motherboard). If you need more power connectors I gave you the third link for a splitter. There you go, your good to go. Plz be sure to post pics of your project after your done, I would love to see them. |
