Help Needed!!!!

This is my first build and of course i am haveing problems..really need your help.

Anway i am useing a P4C800-E ASUS motherboardand have only installed the folowing: A p-4 processorand heatsink a lite-on optical drive a floppy and vid card. An d oh yea a WD Raptor SATA hd. When i hit the power button it all tums on. I hold down the delete key to get into bios and systm does it scan thing and says on screen no drive attached to fast track controler. Also i get no beep. I get into blue screen bios and am stuck as to what to do. What other information do i need to supply that would help you help me??

you must have installed some ram too. could be that its not reading the hdd, did you format it and everything?

Enable sata drive in bios and controller in bios,make sata as primary and pata as secondary,make sata as first boot device,make sure all drives are set to auto detect.
Enabling sata controller should be found in integrated devices in bios,start there.
