Sata Hard Drives

Ok I am building my first PC and I have questions about sata hard drives. With the MOBO below is it possible to have two sata hard drives and then one IDE hard drive? Is sata just faster? When the hard drives are plug into the onboard sata they don't need any IDE cables do they? Also with 3 harddrives and two dvd burners would a 420 watt PS be good enough? Thank you. Sorry about leaving it off.

there's no mobo listed below.
The SATA uses a different king of cable than a traditional IDE drive.. much thinner.
And yes, the SATA is faster than IDE.
As far as being able to hook up the SATA and IDE at the same time, I believe you can, but would have to check the mobo to be sure.
