DVD/CD burner & CD ROM Drive?

Is there any advantage to having both a DVD/CD burner and also a CD ROM Drive?

I am getting a Plextor PX 708A burner and was wondering is and addition CD ROM would be of any use.

Thanks

if you have an aditional drive and you are copying CDs then you don't have to save the data to your harddrive first (and waste disk space)

I've got one of each in my current system. I typically use the cd drive for gaming and such and only use the burner when I'm...well burning.

If it matters the cd drive seems to be quieter when in use than the burner is. It doesn't matter much to me, but to the wife it's a whole differnet story....
