Question Laptop Mouse

When i first turned on my laptop after a few weeks of it sitting around, the mouse doesn't work (the AccuPoint on the keyboard, nor the PS/2 mouse)! I know that its easy to navigate without the mouse but its a real inconvienience!
HELP!

It is a Toshiba Sattelite Pro 400CS/520 With WIN95

Boot it into safe mode, uninstall all mouse software and remove all mice from device manager, then restart.
