Game Pads
Does anyone know if these 2 game pads work on Windows XP?
Logitech Dual Action USB Microsoft Sidewinder Game Pad USB I read in various places that these controllers are not compatible wth WinXP, and yet, on many other sites, they claim they are. I want a definitive answer (so i come to the fine folks at PCMech )Thanks |

I keep finding versions of the gamepad that use the joystick connection on a soundcard. Are those sidewinders compatible with XP?

My Sidewinder 3D Pro is a gameport joystick and Win2K sees it with no driver load required - plug and play. I would *assume* XP would see it too as long as XP sees the gameport. 2K saw the gameport on my old Creative AWE64.
