Help! My wife's computer won't recognize the keyboard and she has a power-up password. With no keyboard I can't type in a password. I have tried switching keyboards and none are recognized. I have also tried a USB keyboard but that didn't work either but I don't know whether the password protection keeps the computer from recognizing a new keyboard port. I'm in a load of hurt here. Any way I can get the password protection off so I can at least troubleshoot? I'm running Win 98 and I have tried sticking a startup disk in but the password box comes up and that's it. Please Help!

There usually is a jumper on the motherboard to clear the password, you'll need the manual to point you to that..
