5.1 Speaker Setup problem
Just figured I'd see if anyone knew the problem. I bought a new sound card a long time ago along with a 5.1 surround sound system. The sound card seemed to install ok yet I've never been able to get sound out of all 4 speakers. It only comes out of two and the woofer. The 5.1 option is selected on the sound profile. I gave up after a while and have lived with it. Any ideas?

I assume the plugs are all in the right connectors..
usually there is one that goes into the regualr speakers plug and a second that goes into the surround plug (sometimes it goes into the mic plug, which doubles as surround) what kid of speakers/sound card are you using? |
