Angry Fire vga monitor

just bought a used vga monitor, trying to figure if it is usable or not, When I plug it in & set to lowest settings, I get a picture but it rolls repeatledly. Any way to stop this? it is a magnovox professional vga colored display, if that helps.

first yould have to remove the case to get to it and do it with the power on, this is a very dangerious thing to do unless your trained in the field of monitor repaire and have a lot of experience doing it,

the control adjustment are labled.

I do not recommend that you even try this your self
take it to a shop to have it repaired.

there is 30,000 volts in there that will jump out and get you

How old is your monitor? If it's like 10 years old then it may be just dying out.

Buying used monitors is false economy these days when you can get brand new 17 inchers with a warranty for $100. Take a look at Sam's Club or Costco.

glc is right on (again!) My boss just bought 3 new Samsung 17" black monitors at Sam's Club for $109 ea. I bought two used monitors at a computer show a couple weeks ago and both work good for now. Don't guarantee anyone how long they will last tho'. A 15" for $19 (Dell) and a 17" for $45. There was guy there selling 21" units that were from a lease deal for $150! Nice units too.
