Difference Between These Two RAMs?

http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...=BROWSE&depa=0

and

http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...=BROWSE&depa=0

I am planning on buying another gig of RAM and didnt see what the difference was between these two sticks of RAM. I already have a gig of one of these sticks in my computer but not sure which one because I see no difference in them. So whats the difference between the two?

They are different latencies, one is 2.5 and one is 3. you want the lower of the two, so go with the CAS latency of 2.5

Unless you are trying to run in dual channel mode, i don't see how this wouldn't work. It would probably just run at the CAS Latency of 3 instead of 2.5.

You don't need to remove the module to find out what it is. The latest version of CPU-Z will tell u...

Or...
Aida32...
http://www.aida32.hu/aida32.php

these will tell you the timings of the present RAM.
