my monitor sometimes decides that it wants to like have a slight flicker to it!
anyone know why its doin this??? is there anything i can do! its a new monitor so theres no problem with it apart from this!!! can anyone help me thanks alot Jason |

maybe if you could post what brand and model monitor it is, might help get a reply and also what your system spects are. MB,cpu video card , etc.

Do you have a fluorescent lamp next to it? Sometimes the transformer will affect the monitor.
Do you know what refresh rate the video card is set to? Rates lower than 60Hz will appear to flicker. Cricket

It would be good to know your specs as bailey is suggesting, it is usually the first thing we would ask for in reply to an answer. it is only so we can help you overcome your problem a lot faster than without knowing the informaiton
What make/model is the monitor? The model may have history of problems Craig

i have AMD XP 2400 +
512 kingston RAM Motherboard not to sure just a cheap one at the mo, as other one decided to F**k up!! on board sound and graphics! 80GB HDD i do not like this comp for one reason on board sound n graphics!!! n motherboard! this is just a temp comp until i get my pay cheque!! so i have decided that its the graphics card as its onboard sound n graphics!! thanks anyway |
