wireless fax
hello people , tried to set up a fax program on a new build that is a remote wireless to a a router with DSL . When I try to set it up it looks for the modem,of course it doesn't find it and the fax program doesn't work. Any one have the answer??

You need a regular phone line to use a computer fax, just like any other fax. What you are trying to do is send a fax through the Internet, which requires an Internet fax service.
Either add a fax/modem to the PC just for the fax machine, or check into web fax services. |

The only way to fax the way you are trying is to install Winfax Pro on the machine with a standard dialup fax modem, and share it, and install Winfax Pro on the remote wireless machine and set it to use the shared modem. Can't fax through DSL unless you subscribe to an Internet fax service.
