Pocket PC probs
Alrighty, i got my HP H1945 and whenever someone (my little brother) types the password incorrectly too much, apon typing the last digit of anything (the PW is 1220), it freezes (so u can type 1,2,2, but when u hit 0, the "button" on the screen turns from blue to black and just stays frozen. Its gotten to the point where nothing works, soft reset= whole thing starts over so I cant get into it.
Any help? Thanks in advance |

Only thing I can think of at this point would be a hard reboot. Hope you haven't loaded anything on it that you don't want to lose or can't recreate. A hard reboot will basically return the handheld to its as-shipped state.
You'll need to look at the manual to see how to do a hard reset. Different manufacturers have different combinations of controls to hold down to make this happen. |

if you enter the password incorrectly 6 time it will lock the unit and wipe the memory completely. A hard reset it done by holding the two outside buttons (calandar & itask??) whilst pressing and holding the reset switch.
